Seat Depth & Height

Seat depth in the 21–26" range fits most people comfortably — deeper seats are great for sinking in on movie nights, shallower ones keep you upright for dinner or laptop work. Seat height between 17" and 21" works well too: lower matches most coffee tables, taller is easier to stand up from.

Fabric & Cleanability

Performance weaves shrug off spills, pet hair, and kids. The real test is whether the cover comes off — a zip-off, machine-washable cover turns a spill into a quick laundry cycle.

Modular vs. Fixed

Modular pieces move in one seat at a time, so tight doorways, stairwells, and apartment hallways are no problem. It's also the only style that lets you add a piece later instead of buying a whole new couch when your space changes.

Photos and reviews can't tell you how deep the seat really is, how the cushion feels under you, or how the fabric feels against your skin. Buying a couch sight-unseen is a guessing game — go sit on the actual piece before you commit.

How do I build a custom configuration?

All pieces are sold individually, so you can easily build your own configuration (or add pieces in the future).

Simply go to Individual collections and select the pieces you'd like to purchase.

Can you remove my old couch?

We don’t offer couch removal right now. To keep our prices sharp and focus on fast, white-glove delivery of your new couch, our team isn’t set up for hauling away old furniture.

That said, here are the best ways to get rid of your old couch (and maybe even make a little money):

Donate it locally Many local charities and furniture donation centers will pick it up from your home if it’s in usable condition.This keeps it out of the landfill and helps a family in the area.
List it on Facebook MarketplaceTake a few clear photos, note any wear/tear, and post it for sale.Most people can sell their old couch or at least list it for “Free – you pick up” and have it gone quickly.

Can I see couches in person

Yes — you can see and try it in person at our Albany & Sherwood showroom. We offer a self-guided (unmanned) showroom experience, so you can take your time with zero sales pressure. We’re open 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. If you have questions while you’re here, just text or call — we respond fast.

Can I add pieces later?

Yep! Every piece is sold individually, so you can add on anytime — start with what fits your space now and expand whenever you're ready. Most furniture locks you in from day one, but with Couch Guy you can grow your sectional as your space or family does.

Do the pieces slide apart?

No. Each piece includes non-slip pads on the feet to help keep your layout together and in place, while still making it easy to rearrange when needed.

How Long till I get my couch?

We guarantee it. In-stock items within the Willamette Valley are delivered and set up within one week of your purchase, or your delivery fee is free.

If you'd like your delivery on a later date instead, just let us know and we'll schedule it for a day works better for you. Choosing a later date means the guarantee doesn't apply to that order, since you've picked a different timeline than the original one-week window.

Pickup orders and out-of-stock/preorder items aren't included in this guarantee.

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout the Willamette Valley, including Portland, Eugene, and everywhere in between. After placing your order, our team will contact you to schedule your delivery and setup.

Do you offer financing?

Yes! Check out all available options at checkout.

Do I have to schedule delivery/ pickup right away?

Nope! we can hold your couch for a few days if you need time to clear space or coordinate.

Is there a warranty?

We proudly stand behind every couch we sell. Each piece includes a 1-year limited manufactures warranty.

Can I return my couch

If you're not fully satisfied when your order arrives, no worries—you can exchange for a different sofa before signing off on delivery/pickup.

A redelivery fee will apply, equal to your original delivery charge plus 10% of your purchase price. This covers the cost of processing your exchange and getting your new sofa delivered. You can exchange for any sofa of equal or greater value.

After you place your order all sales are final.
